Smoked Salmon Tartine
with Herbed Goat Cheese and Sliced Pears

Makes approximately 12 tartines

Ingredients

1 6.5oz jar of Chinook & Company smoked salmon
1 loaf rustic country bread cut into 1/2 “ slices
1 Bartlett pear thinly sliced and dipped in lemon water

For the herbed goat cheese:

6 oz log of goat cheese, brought room temperature
1 tablespoon each of fresh thyme, chives, parsley and dill finely chopped
1 tablespoon lemon zest

Preparation:


Combine all the ingredients for the herbed goat cheese and mix to combine. Slice bread into desired size and spread goat cheese mixture over slices. Add thinly sliced pieces of pear on top of goat cheese mixture and top with crumbles of the salmon. 

Garnish with thyme leaves. Serve immediately.
